Poll: Are Traffic Exchanges Dead?

Does the end of Paypal business signal the end of the traffic exchange and viral mailer industry?  That’s the question on the minds of thousands of affiliates these days, following the rapid actions by Paypal to cease doing business with incentivized traffic websites.  Although alternatives like Payza and SolidTrustPay do offer some relief, the majority of major players in the niche are seeing headaches small and large while moving on from Paypal.  The process of re-scripting, integrating payment buttons, and getting business approval have all been hot topics these past few weeks.  All in all, the scenario is pretty dramatic for those with a vested interest in traffic exchanges, that’s for sure.

I’m curious what you think the future holds for traffic exchanges – and I have this nifty plugin for running polls, so you get to play along below.

  1. We Just Adapt Move On – Paypals Loss, Adapt Or Die.

  2. I think it seems to be usual at all the traffic exchanges that paypal is always a hurdle for traffic exchange business .we need a solid alternate together

    • An alternate, for sure – not sure if Payza will ultimately work out best for all, or something else. We will see eh. Cheers!

      • I have used PayPal for 12 years and never had a problem sending or receiving money. I tried Payza, set up my account to be able to access my bank account, got it verified them tried to send money from my bank to my Payza account and they lost it. So I did everything they asked but to no avail. This matter was never resolved. So I am very worried about what will happen to the TE business.

I am retired and trying to live on Canada Pension and old age pension which is well below the poverty level. I have been trying to supplement my income online now I don’t know what will happen. There has to be a better way.

        • Hi Shelagh, I can certainly echo your concerns about Payza and bank funding – challenging, to say the least. Let’s hope the collective minds in our market find some practical solutions to the sudden absence of Paypal eh. Thanks for your feedback!
